Water Line Take 2

So far we have managed to break one gas line and now two water lines. We are not doing well for our sanity in this process. Last night, while taking down another tree that needed to be removed, it fell on top of a spiget and broke one of the main water lines. We had to cut off water to the main house, apartment, and my grandparent's house to fix it. We worked in the rain, digging to visualize the pipes, sucking out the water (that was my main job) while Bubba and Dad came in as reinforcements to help us figure out how to cut it to fix it. We could not have done it without their help!! I owe Bubba a big sour cream pound cake for how long he stayed out there in the rain with us! Mom even came over for moral support with Mrs. Carol and ran into the apartment to get us things as we needed them. We were all a soaking muddy mess by then end of it but we got it fixed so that we could have water power back for the night. Whew!!
