The Room Over the Garage

The room over the garage was finished being framed in this week. We were super excited to see the way it is laid out and how much room we will have up there. It will be Dan's "Man Room" and he has full permission on the decor. :) Below are the stairs that will go up to the FROG from the back hallway and the back door coming in from the car port.

Below is the car port area. They will pour the concrete whenever this crazy weather warms up enough for them not to be worried about it cracking.

This is the view from our apartment or what we will call our "guest house".

This is the view from the landing at the top of the stairs. It looks out towards the back of our property.

Below is the view from the far right side looking towards the far left side. This should give you a feel for how far across the room will be.

Below is the wall our future large flatscreen will hang on for the boys to watch their football games. :)

This is going to be finished into a full bath with a shower-tub combo. We may end of finishing it later depending on how the rest of the project goes.

The trusses are being delivered tomorrow and so they will start working on getting those up and the other addition spaces roof framed and then will get started on tying in the new roof lines and putting new shingles over the whole house.
