October: A Month of Painting

We have been working hard on getting the house painted. We have had lots of help from my in-laws, my sister, my mom, and one very special friend from Savannah. Slowly but surely we are making progress. I took the last week off from work to try to get a lot of the painting done and we made a lot of progress, especially since my sister came down for two days and mom joined us those same days as well. So far we have completed everything except one of the guest rooms, one hallway, the dining room, and living room. That's pretty good progress and hopefully before I go back to work next week we will have finished everything except the dining room and living room (those involve a lot of trim work and we are still prepping those areas to be ready to be painted).
Here are some pictures of our progress:

Above is our smaller bedroom after is was primed (don't start me on how hard it is to paint beadboard) and below is the color I finally selected after trying 7 other samples of shades of green. Mom, Becca, Dianne and I all pow-wowed with the Sherwin Williams color wheel to figure out what to do about the green color. We decided on a shade to try (it was actually Dianne's pick) and it worked! :) I am so glad to finally have found the color that has been in my head this whole time.

Here is Mr. Danny working hard to prep the trim in the Living Room and Dining Room.
