From mid-Feb to current, we have been working hard to install and stain and seal our Heart Pine kitchen countertops. They are beautiful and we are very pleased with the result. They still need a few more coats of polyeurothane but will be done soon. We were quite delayed in working on them due to sickness (flu-yuck!) and because the floors actually had to be re-finished-3 different times. (Long story short on the floors, there were tiny brush hairs everywhere--literally hundreds--so needless to say the floor person had to come back and fix it and it took a few times to get it right). But I will post finished counter top pictures this week so you can see the end result!
