Backsplash on Countertops--check (had to be done before the plumbing could be finished)
Only Plumbing, handrails, and smoke detector install left before we can apply for our inspection and certificate of occupancy!
I was voted in as #1 helper to work in the yard with my dad so I spent all weekend helping him to clear out the overgrown horrible looking yard and work towards making it beautiful again. I had no idea how much of that time I would spend raking old leaves and debris! Wow those contractors made a MESS! Slowly but surely it started shaping up. We have some pictures of the yard at its best when Nanoo tended it with a very green thumb and so I am hoping to channel some of that so that I can get it back to where it used to be.
Meanwhile, Dan worked on installing the kitchen backsplash and sanding his Man Room walls.
I also planted 5 new "babies" to grow next to the "mama" hydrangea so look for more pics to come as I try my first attempt of my gardening. Surely with Nanoo's , my Dad's and my Mom's very green thumbs, I would have inheirited some skills!
